How We Look After Your Details
Last updated November 2026
Who We Are
This website is run by South Yorkshire Energy Renewables Ltd, Fitzwilliam House, Middle Bank, Doncaster, England, DN4 5NG. We are responsible for the personal details you send us through it. If you have any questions about this policy or your details, email [email protected] or call 07783 536958.
What We Collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive:
- your first and last name
- your phone number and email address
- anything you write in your message, such as details of your property
We do not ask for payment details online.
To stop spam, the contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA. When you tick the box, Google receives information about your browser and how you used the page so it can check you are a person. See Google's privacy policy and terms of service.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the website, such as the pages you visit, roughly where you are and the device you use. We only see this as totals, not as information about you personally.
How We Use It
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey if you would like one, and prepare a quote. The law allows this because you have asked us to get in touch with you before entering into a contract.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we will never sell or share your details for marketing.
Where It Goes
Your enquiry is sent to our office by email. It is not stored in a database on this website. The companies that host this website and deliver and store our email handle it on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for anything else.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows. If you do not go ahead with us, we delete your enquiry once it is no longer needed.
Cookies
This website sets two small cookies of its own that it needs in order to work. They keep the contact form secure and remember a form you have partly filled in if there was a problem sending it. They do not track you, and they are deleted when you close your browser or shortly after.
With your permission, we also use Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to understand how visitors use the website. They last up to two years. They are only set if you choose Accept on the cookie message, and you can change your mind at any time with .
The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, and the contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA. Google may set its own cookies when these load; see Google's privacy policy.
Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
